Why did you join TTRB?
TTRB offered me an amazing opportunity to be a part of it's growth while doing something I love, playing Roller Derby!
What derby related injuries, if any, have you had?
Ugh- I had a ripped PCL injury my second season that kept me on the couch for a whole summer. And if you know anything about Seattle, that is the worst time to be immobile- the few days that the sun is actually out.
The PCL is the ligament that keeps the top of you leg connected to the bottom of your leg...so it was pretty serious and still bothers me from time to time.
What do you do with your time, other than derby?
I work very hard at maintaining a healthy derby/life/work balance. So I make sure to make enough time for my non-derby friends, my family, and well...until this becomes a professional sport.... I still have a "real" job.
Also, I focus on getting outdoors as much as possible; hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
Seattle has so much to offer and I want to do it all!
What do you like most about Roller Derby?
It allows me to continue to push my limits and expand my potential as an athlete and as a woman.
If you could give any advice to a new or interested skater, what would it be?
You never know what will happen if you try.
But if you don't try it is for certain that nothing will happen ;)
What is your biggest fear?
What makes you happy?
Looking back on a life well lived, full of love
What is your beverage of choice?
Give me bubbles, darling!
