How did you come up with your derby name and number?
I am a literary nerd perhaps because I teach English for a living…I love idioms and “Nest of Vipers” has always been a fave but opportunities to use it are few and far between! Let’s just say it suits me. My number is supposed to tell how many vipers in a nest…7 or 8. (708)

Why did you join TTRB?
I fell in love with the banked track during PFM Core practices. I knew I wanted more than just a few days a month so I signed up for flight school to see if it was a lasting infatuation—turned out it was! I love TTRB! Every person who is a part of it is amazing in their own unique way!

What is your favorite off-skates workout?
Biking at Duthie Hill and snowboarding or skiing in the winter because I hate being wet and muddy.

What do you do with your time, other than derby?
I run, mountain bike, skateboard, go to shows, read, and watch cartoons.

What do you like most about Roller Derby?
I like everything about derby.

Do you have a quote/saying that means a lot to you?

I like to think that it applies to all aspects of life.

What is your favorite color?
Bruise color. (that’s my way of making ‘purple’ sound tough)

What is your favorite movie?
Deathproof. Zoe Bell is my hero.

If you could be anything other than human, what would you be?
A unicorn because they are terrifying and pretty all at the same time! Maybe.
