How did you come up with your derby name and number?
I am nothing but bad luck. 8 balls represent bad luck. K8 ball represents me representing bad luck.

Why did you join TTRB?
I like to skate, man.

How long have you been skating?
Since i got my first little pair of skates at age 6. I took a 25 year hiatus and came back to it at 33

Who is your derby idol?
I love me some Cherry Chainsaw and Panty Shot!

What derby related injuries, if any, have you had?
A poorly healing separated shoulder, a couple of blows to my ego.

What is your favorite off-skates workout?
P90X, hula hooping, swimming in the deep end, letting me dog walk me, surfing, climbing trees

Besides skating, what service do you provide to the league and the
community?
Being a nurse is a whole lot of service. I do recycle.

How has derby improved your life?
My legs are AWESOME!

What do you do with your time, other than derby?
I work, I sleep, eat, drink beers, get into trouble, hang out with my cute as a button boyfriend, travel the world, let my dog walk me (as aforementioned.)

What do you like most about Roller Derby?
Fishnets and attitudes.

Do you have a quote/saying that means a lot to you?

If you could give any advice to a new or interested skater, what would it be?
"It takes a village..."

What is your biggest fear?
Ghosts.

What makes you happy?
Doing my Cher impression.

Making fun of Tyra Banks, America's Next Top Model, camping.

What are your dislikes?
Tyra Banks, the models on America's Next Top Model, snakes.

What is your favorite color?
Orangey red... sunset colors.

What is your favorite movie?
Naked Gun, Airplane, A Christmas Story, Terms of Endearment. Anything with Olympia Dukakis.

What is your beverage of choice?
Water with a twist of lemon. I like to leave the label on the lemon as i feel it gives a better flavor.

If you could be anything other than human, what would you be?
My dog, she seems to have a pretty good life. However, I'd want an owner like me to take care of me. Otherwise, I'd like to be a bowl of Jell-o.
