How did you come up with your derby name and number?
I spent months with friends and family helping me pick a name that fit me. I prayed for a name to come to me and the very next day Tripsy posted a message of some names that she wanted to give up and were free for the pickin! I knew instantly Rosary was the answer to my little prayer. 68 beads on a Rosary. (Thanks Trips ;)

Why did you join TTRB?
Something was missing in my life, mostly exercise and the urge to be a part of something bigger than my day to day job and watching tv. I wanted to meet new people and branch out, it’s the only way to grow as an individual, that and I have always been involved in sports growing up. I needed to be part of a team again.

Who is your derby idol?
It changes a lot because I am constantly discovering amazing new skaters every month or so, but I have consistently admired Quadzilla. His skill surpasses anyone I have ever seen on skates. He’s absolutely amazing and his advice is most appreciated every time he comes to help coach. That and he can jump over 10 people on skates! Incredible. I am so jealous of Grave Danger for having him as their coach.

What do you like most about Roller Derby?
The physicality of it all! In every sport I have ever played I have fouled too much, yelled at by couches and despised by teammates for playing too
rough or hitting too hard. I have always been the tallest and largest and must be “more gentle” on the other girls? In derby I can give ‘em everything thing I’ve got, these girls can take it, we don’t hold back, and at the end of the day everyone is a better player for it. It’s what makes derby so incredibly exciting and fun.

If you could give any advice to a new or interested skater, what would it be?
Push yourself. Everyone is uncomfortable with the unkown, but taking risks is the only way to learn and have the most fun.

What makes you happy?
Spontaneity, Sunday mass and being carefree keeps me happy

What are your likes?
Simplicity, Star Wars, Sam Rockwell, snowboarding, camping and traveling.

What are your dislikes?
Grudges, cannibalism and the very thought of giving birth. Uhh.

What is your favorite movie?
Currently, I would have to say Inception. I’m a dreamer.

What is your beverage of choice?
Beer.
