How did you come up with your derby name and number?
Back when I first joined Tilted Thunder I made the decision not to spend absurd amounts of money on workout clothes. This led to a trip to Value Village and found a pair of bright orange hammer-like pants adorned with multicolored fish. One of my favorite features of these particular pants has to be the elastic waist. Thus, Pantz was born. Later came the Stank A. part. This originated from my insane ability to skate with a “stank face”.

Why did you join TTRB?
Simply put, I had no friends. I had lived in Seattle for a few months and still didn’t know too many people and I thought joining derby would be a great way to meet people. I had no idea what the sport was, or how much work was required but it has been a great decision.

Who is your derby idol?
I’m so conceited, I am my own idol.

What derby related injuries, if any, have you had?
It started with some giant bruises and moved on to a broken leg/sprained ankle combo. After that some toe nails have fallen off.

What do you do with your time, other than derby?
I’m a full time student, part-time nanny, and part-time dog-care provider.

Do you have a quote/saying that means a lot to you?
Ndakasimba kana makasimbawo, meaning “I’m strong if you’re strong”. It was the inspiration for my wrist tattoo.

What makes you happy?
I really enjoy being TTRB’s youngest member. I’ll cry when that title is taken from me.

What are your likes?
Pancakes.

What is your favorite movie?
It’s a tie between 3 Ninjas, Aladdin, The Departed, Revolver and maybe a few others.

What is your beverage of choice?
Trader Joe’s pomegranate limeade is far superior to all other beverages.
