How did you come up with your derby name and number?
One of my teammates actually came up with it. I'd been having a hard time figuring out what I wanted my name to be, but the one she picked was perfect. It's hard to find one that isn't already registered and is still somewhat original.
Why did you join TTRB?
I had been wanting to try derby for a really long time, but had let all my fears about why I shouldn't do it get in the way. I finally decided that I would never know if any of those fears was true it I didn't at least try. So I started skating and going to PFM. I heard a few girls talk about TTRB having tryouts soon and I wanted to know more. As soon as I found out it was banked track derby, I was both scared and interested at the same time. Then I met a handful of the TTRB ladies and knew that they were the kind of ladies I wanted to skate with and the kind of league I wanted to be a part of.
