Chicklets and Peeps — Banked Track Junior Roller Derby

TTRB is expanding the next generation of roller derby! We are proud to announce two divisions for our junior derby league.

CHICKLETS
Chicklets, age 7-13, for younger and more inexperienced skaters, focuses on gross motor coordination, skating skills, cooperative learn work, and connection to their local community. This is a position-only program; there is no contact or hitting curriculum.

PEEPS
Peeps, age 11-17, is a full-contact, competitive banked track roller derby program that empowers young girls through athleticism, service to their community, strategic thinking and reasoning. The benefits of team sports for girls have long been established: healthier bodies, greater sense of self, empowerment, connection and empathy for community, in addition to participating in a unique and fun sport--banked track roller derby!

Look for our Peeps at upcoming bouts and TTRB events. Beyond their training as derby skaters and competitors, these girls are deeply involved in our community and committed to social responsibility, as are their big sisters.
